Is there a fee for the festival?

No, the festival is free for the whole family!

Where do I park?

There are 2 free parking decks at the corner of Waddell Street and Lawrence St. View City of Marietta Parking Map. You will also find limited, free curbside parking. There are many private parking lots in the downtown area but may charge to park

What types of things will be for sale?

There will be many handcrafted items such as paintings, jewelry, wood working, pottery, clothing plus soaps, market items like jelly, jams and sauces. Antique dealers will display furniture, collectibles, glass, linens and more.

Will there be vintage vehicles on the Square?

Yes, the Hubcaps and History Classic Car Show will be part of the festival from on Saturday from 10am-3pm (weather permitting). Awards will be handed out by the car show partner, Lenny’s Hair Salon.

There will be a Military, Motorcycles & More Cruise-In on Sunday from 11am to 3pm.

Both vehicle events will be held on South Park Square also along Roswell Street and Atlanta Street.

Will there be live music performances?

Yes, the Marietta Grassroots Music Festival is from 3 pm to 9 pm on Saturday and from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday.


Will any streets be closed?

Yes, North, South & East Park will be closed from 5am on Saturday, 9.17 until 9pm on Sunday, 9.18.  There will also be portions of Atlanta, Roswell, Lawrence and Cherokee Streets closed during the festival. West Park Square will be open during the entire festival.

Will there be activities for kids of all ages?

Yes, there will be two kids sections – our Tiny Tot Town for the little ones and one for big kids there will be make and take art stations plus inflatable slides and bounces. (some activities require a small fee)

Will the Marietta Farmer's Market be open?

Yes. The Farmers Market will be there from 9am-12noon on Mill St. on Saturday and from noon to 3pm on Sunday.

Food Vendors: 

At this time we are not accepting any food vendors for the festival. Festival visitors can enjoy the many restaurant options at the Square for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Where can I find food and refreshments?

There is a large selection of restaurants at a variety of price ranges on the Marietta Square available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. View restaurants located around the Marietta Square.

How is the Marietta Museum of History Involved?

The Marietta Museum of History is the organizer of the festival. As a nonprofit organization, the Museum holds this event as a fundraiser each year. The Marietta Museum of History, is dedicated to preserving, providing, promoting and partnering with our community to make it a desirable place to work, live and play.  The Museum will be open for FREE both festival days from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and noon to 4pm on Sunday.
